We’re incredibly proud to announce that we came home with the Education Provider of the Year Award at last week’s prestigious GP Awards at the Lancaster Hotel in London!

The GP Awards are designed to recognise, highlight and reward the hard work and innovation that gets carried out every day in surgeries and by businesses that provide services to practices every day. Practice teams, CCGs and project teams, as well as external suppliers, were nominated for awards in a range of categories.

The event was hosted by surgeon, broadcaster and writer Peter McDonald, who also announced the winners.

Among the other big winners were:

Lifetime Achievement Award – Prof. Aneez Esmail

General Practitioner of the Year – Karen Brown

Nurse of the Year – Reena Patel

Practice Manager of the Year – Anne Neville

We were also the proud sponsors of the Health Care Leader of the Year Award at this year’s event. FPM General Manager Matthew Wright presented the award to Dr Emma Tiffin, a GP in Peterborough who has worked in mental health clinical leadership roles for 15 years, and also has a weekly ‘Health Matters’ show on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

The FPM group were also nominated for –

• Staffing Agency of the Year
